EVELIN PATAKI, VP Marketing and Sales

Evelin Pataki will bring the client perspective to House of Film in support of the company’s strategic communication planning by leveraging her expertise in consumer understanding, targeting and segmentation, communication effectiveness tracking and research. Her operational experience extends to media purchasing/negotiations (including, among other areas: product placement, sponsorship and strategic media alliances); TV programming license acquisition and sales; traditional and new media planning & buying; interactive and direct marketing; consumer/trade promotions and trade shows.

Prior to joining the House of Film team, Evelin spent 14 years with one of the world’s leading FMCG marketers, Procter & Gamble. During her time with P&G, she rose to become Associate Director, Corporate Marketing, and was in charge of the company’s above and below-the-line media and communication activities for Central Europe South. In that position, Evelin served as a member of the corporate leadership team, CES Markets, overseeing an $850 million (US) business and a 300+person multi-national/regional organization.

In the field of TV programming license acquisition at P&G, Evelin worked closely with media giants such as Warner Brothers, Universal, and Protele, among others, taking a leadership role in building a programming barter business for the company from scratch in Poland and the Baltic States, and delivering a difficult-to-match and sustainable competitive advantage for the company in the process.

Earlier, while working in Germany, Evelin was in charge of selling programming licenses and served as the Interactive Marketing Manager for the DACH markets (for Germany, Austria, Switzerland). Her media partners included Sat 1/Germany, all major television stations in Central Europe & the Near East, a broad array of new media owners and leading print publishing houses, and multi-media owners such as Sanoma. While on assignments in Western Europe and in Latin America at P&G’s Global Business Unites, she worked in Media & Communication advisory roles covering the Baby & Feminine Care, Prestige & “Masstige” Beauty Care categories.

Prior to P&G, Evelin worked for D’Arcy Mesius Benton & Bowles Advertising and for Price Waterhouse in Hungary. A truly global citizen, Evelin has lived in 7 countries and worked in more than thirty. Fluent in English and Hungarian, as well as proficient in German and Spanish, Evelin earned a degree in Business Administration from the Oxford Brookes University.
