The untold stort of the AIDS pandemic narrated by Dominic West

AFTER 82 brings to the screen the untold personal stories of the AIDS crisis in the UK. Narrated by Dominic West, this incredible documentary looks back to the very early days of the pandemic when there were no medications and a positive HIV test meant almost certain death. Many of those featured have never spoken openly to the media about those traumatic early days, and this may be the only time they will do so. The film features interviews with the actor Jonathan Blake (portrayed in the film Pride by Dominic West) who has lived with the virus for over thirty years. This frank and important movie features moving interviews about a desperate time that the world must never forget. It beautifully commemorates those lost to AIDS, it celebrates those who supported people living with the virus and the many who continue to be there for those in need.

AFTER 82 is a remarkable testament to human compassion, strength, love and resilience and ensures that those voices will never be forgotten.

Holocaust survivor, Agnes, escapes a concentration camp and takes refuge on a Delaware Beach. Haunted by the war and its atrocities, she finds herself raising her abandoned twin grandchildren. The twins, Natasha and Gallagher seek out the affection they missed at home with sometimes unforeseen and life changing consequences.

DELAWARE SHORE brings a modern angle to the traditional approach of Holocaust survivor stories. It speaks to the generational consequences of this atrocity by weaving in the current issues of fighting modern day demons and finding redemption against all odds. Loosely based on real life events portrayed in the novel by the same title, written by Michaelangelo Rodriguez.

An  intimate view of a world we seldom experience

This sensual thriller takes you on a sensual and exotic journey to present day Cuba where three young Havanese outcasts find each other as they long to find their place in a world that will not have them. As they clash and bond; search and withdraw; love and despise the sensual undercurrents of desire and passion mingle with the crisis of surviving in an inhospitable world. While the outer story recounts the literal struggle for a place to live, the powerful through-line of the story shows us a universal plight of those who mange to rise above the conformity around them. In the world of the heart, our heroes tower above their environment and speak a language inaudible to those around them – just like Giraffes.

The Making of Out Loud is much more than a behind-the-scenes look at the myriad difficulties faced by the cast and crew of the Muslim world’s first commercial gay feature, Out Loud. This thought provoking, well researched look at the discrimination and outright persecution faced today by gays and lesbians in Muslim countries serves as a strong reminder of how precious Western gay rights gains are, as well as how much work remains to be done, especially in the face of many organized religions’ intolerance of the gay community.
